Performance Software (a U. S. company) and Auvation (a UK company) have merged to create midsize companies with a great work-life balance, providing innovative software and hardware to our client companies. We are looking for passionate Software Engineers to design and develop software solutions for state-of-the-art safety-critical systems in the areas of Avionics and Submarines to join our team. This is a full-time position that is located in either Cardiff or Cheltenham.
Requirements
1. Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
2. Software development experience involving any of the following: VXWorks, Ada, DO-178, RTOS, Device Drivers or avionics displays
3. Proficiency in at least one language such as C, C++
4. Embedded software experience is desired but not required
5. Experience with safety critical programs is a plus
