What’s the opportunity?
If you’re all about making the people around you smile and delivering a great service for customers then you could be the perfect fit for us. All you need in order to apply is a Category C1 licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). We’ll sort the rest!
Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.
What does the role involve?
* Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
* Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
* Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
* Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
* Ensuring safety by carrying out checks and driving safely
* Working 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods
* Heavy lifting
Who are we looking for?
* Previous experience within a driving role
* Category C1 vehicle licence
* Driver digital tachograph card
* Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
* Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and familiarity with tacographs
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow process and procedures
* Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
* Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling
* Hard working
* Team player
* Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
