SEN Teaching Assistant - BL2
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Role Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a supportive primary school in Bolton (BL2). This full-time, term-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's learning journey.
Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND. Assist with the delivery of personalised learning activities. Help implement strategies outlined in EHCPs. Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. * Work closely with teachers and support staff to monitor progress.
Ideal Candidate Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated). Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable. Calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
