Job Overview
We are seeking a Locum Specialty Doctor – CCAT CAMHS to be part of the Specialist Services Strategic Business Unit in Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust. CCATT works in close collaboration with the East of England CAMHS Collaborative Patient Flow Team, which is gate‑keeping for Tier 4 admissions in the inpatient/home treatment team setting, the CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, the Adolescent DBT Team and the PATH – Psychosis: Prevention, Assessment and Treatment in Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities
 * To undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients.
 * To record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively, and submit this promptly to the Information Department.
 * To participate annually in a job plan review with the line manager, which will include consultation with a relevant manager to ensure the post is developed to take into account changes in service configuration and delivery associated with modernisation.
 * To work with local managers and professional colleagues in ensuring the efficient running of services, and share with consultant colleagues in the medical contribution to management.
 * To comply with the Trust’s agreed policies, procedures, standing orders and financial instructions, and to take an active role in the financial management of the service and support the medical director and other managers in preparing plans for services.
 * Provision of psychiatric expertise to the CCAT team.
 * To undertake outpatient clinics via the intervention arm of CCAT and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
 * To liaise effectively with primary care and mainstream mental health services.
 * To have regular clinical supervision with the consultant psychiatrist. It is the post holder’s responsibility to ensure that this is booked.
