CNC Miller - IMMEDIATE START
My client are seeking a highly skilled CNC Milling Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their team. This role involves working with advanced Mazak CNC machinery to produce high-quality, low-volume components, often requiring precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving expertise. This is a TEMPORARY 6 week contract at minimum!
Key Responsibilities
* Independently program, set, and operate Mazak CNC milling machines, including 3‑axis (VTC‑530C) and 5‑axis (CV5‑500) models.
* Use HyperMILL CAD/CAM software to create, optimise, and prove out CNC programs.
* Manufacture components to exact specifications, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
* Perform in‑process and final quality control checks to ensure all parts meet required standards.
* Work on low‑volume, high‑precision components, adapting to varied and sometimes complex machining requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven expertise in CNC milling, including both 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining.
* High level of competence using HyperMILL CAD/CAM software for programming.
* Extensive hands‑on experience setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines.
* Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Salary: Up to £25 per hour
Hours: 40 hours a week – Monday to Thursday 7‑4 or 8‑5, Friday 7‑1 or 7‑2
