A leading Co. Tyrone construction contractor operating across the building and civil engineering sectors is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its expanding pre‑construction team. Your new role
You will be responsible for producing high‑quality written content for PQQs, tenders, and framework submissions. Working closely with colleagues across pre‑construction, estimating, and operations, you will coordinate information, manage submission timelines, and ensure all documents arepliant,pelling, and aligned with client expectations. The role involves gathering technical information from subject‑matter experts, shaping it into clear and engaging narrative, and maintaining consistent messaging and brand standards throughout. You will also support the ongoing development of bid processes, templates, and knowledge libraries, while carrying out research into clients,petitors, and market trends to strengthen the overall bid strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role requires proven experience as a Bid Writer or Proposal Writer, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or a related technical environment. Strong writing, editing, andmunication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively across teams. You should bring a proactive and organised approach, a keen eye for detail, and confidence in producing high‑quality written submissions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is important, and experience with bid management tools would be an advantage.
