As a drivers mate, you will be responsible for the customer element of all deliveries – being friendly and upbeat as well as assisting with the lifting and shifting of items. You don’t need any specific experience, just the right attitude, and we can teach you the rest!
Should you want to progress and earn more money, we are willing to pay for your Class 2 license and promote you to a driver after a successful probation period.

What Will You Be Doing as a Drivers Mate?
* Working as part of a 2-person delivery team delivering items to customers' homes
* Calling customers ahead of time to advise of ETA and carrying out pre-delivery assessments of the property
* Accurately recording delivery outcomes on the Flexi Pod system
* Completing risk assessments on arrival at customer properties to check for hazards
* Communicating with clients and head office regarding any difficulties during delivery or installation
* Always providing a first-class customer service experience
Relevant Skills and Experience
* This is a physically demanding role, including lifting and shifting – it is essential that you are physically able to lift items
* Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
* Ability to multitask and problem solve
* A DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
