We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Stockport, Cheshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert psychiatric care within an inpatient setting for adult patients
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
* Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
* Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
* Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
* Full GMC registration
* Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status
* Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient environments
* Proven experience in a consultant-level role
