Overview
The Trauma Orthopaedic service is recruiting motivated Nursing Assistants on Ward 120 at Hull Royal Infirmary. You will support the registered nursing team in delivering direct high quality patient care under the supervision of the Ward Sister and in partnership with the registered nursing team. Hours include 24/7 internal rotation through days and nights. A willingness to become link nurses in areas such as Dementia, Nutrition, Infection Prevention is essential. This vacancy does not meet UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore a Certificate of Sponsorship cannot be issued for this role.
Main duties
* You must demonstrate good communication skills (verbal and written), a flexible approach to work, and a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
* Support the registered nursing team in providing direct, high-quality patient care.
* Be willing to develop orthopaedic nursing skills and participate as a link nurse in specified areas.
* Contribute to a positive and professional environment and uphold patient safety and confidentiality.
