We are seeking a hardworking, motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our team.
Your Role – Shaped by You
The exact nature of your day-to-day responsibilities will depend on your skills, interests, and professional background. You may:
* Support individuals with complex mental health needs during hospital discharge
* Deliver person-centred interventions for those facing substance misuse challenges
* Conduct Care Act assessments and develop care/support plans in the community
* Work alongside families and young people facing safeguarding risks or court proceedings
* Join multi-disciplinary teams for collaborative care planning and safeguarding meetings
* Supervise staff, mentor juniors, or lead risk-focused discussions (if at senior level)

Essential Requirements – What You Must Have:
To be considered for any of these roles, you must have:
* A Social Work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent)
* Social Work England registration (active)
* Enhanced DBS
A strong working knowledge of at least two of the following:
* Care Act 2014
* Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Mental Health Act 1983 (amended)
* Children Act 1989/2004 (for child and family roles)
* Experience working within a local authority or NHS-partnered setting
* Clear understanding of safeguarding principles for adults or children
* Confidence using case management systems and producing clear, accurate records
Desirable (but not essential) experience includes:
* AMHP or Best Interests Assessor (BIA) qualification
* Working with substance misuse or dual diagnosis
* Hospital discharge planning
* Court work or Children's Services intervention
* Experience supervising staff or students
* CHC checklist and Continuing Healthcare knowledge
* Familiarity with multidisciplinary team settings
