Main Responsibilities
* Audit Sodexo's operational activities against legislative requirements and company policies related to health and safety, food safety, and quality, identifying areas of good practice and non-compliance.
* Assist the Lead Audit and Compliance Manager in developing and managing the compliance audit process, and execute this process to provide accurate and timely assessments of compliance, capability, and delivery within operational and functional areas.
* Plan and advise on risk using evidence-based findings to reduce risks to the business, utilizing available data sources for risk-based decision-making.
* Review accidents and incidents to verify report quality, root causes, safety nets, and lessons learned, working with segments to identify opportunities for improvement and test implementation at audit.
* Review Assessment of Risk (AoR) audits/mobilizations undertaken by segments to ensure quality, content, and timing align with Sodexo standards, and flag new risks with the SO HSEQ team and segments.

The Ideal Candidate
* Strong knowledge and practical application of HSEQ within FM services.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety legislation in the UK, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with high accuracy in audit, investigation, and feedback processes, both written and verbal.
* Effective communication skills, capable of presenting technical and non-technical information clearly.
* Proficiency in IT applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the Sodexo premises and beyond.
* Relevant safety, quality, environmental qualifications, diploma or above preferred.
* Membership of relevant professional bodies such as IOSH, IWFM, or CQI is advantageous.
