Your Role
We are on the lookout for a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to help us expand our presence in the Ireland region. In this dynamic role, you will:
* Drive Sales: Be accountable for the sales performance in your region, achieving revenue and profit targets while managing expense budgets and nurturing strong customer relationships.
* Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic territory sales plan, organizing your sales activities daily, weekly, and monthly, and reporting through our internal CRM.
* Opportunity Management: Identify, manage, and close new and existing opportunities, collaborating with OEM and Strategic Sales teams to uncover new business prospects.
* Product Demonstration: Showcase the features and benefits of Trimble’s Construction Infrastructure products to both existing and potential customers.
* Consultative Sales: Build positive relationships with key regional customers through effective account management.
* Forecasting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts to the UK Regional Sales Manager.
* Goal Achievement: Work diligently to meet company objectives, always striving for improvement.
* Market Analysis: Monitor and report on market dynamics, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical-related discipline (civil engineering, surveying, or related business field) or an HND in a technical-related discipline.
* Relevant experience in a construction technology-related field, with a preference for previous field sales experience.
* A strong ability to successfully sell products and services.
* The capability to prioritize effectively for both short and long-term objectives.
* Strategic decision-making skills and the ability to take disciplined risks.
