Responsibilities
* Manage inbound customer enquiries related to industrial and engineering materials.
* Accurately process sales orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Prepare and send detailed quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
* Provide technical product information and support, helping customers understand specifications and applications.
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details within CRM and ERP systems.
* Collaborate closely with external sales colleagues and other departments to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments to support informed customer advice.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a sales support, sales administrator, or customer service role, ideally within technical, industrial, or engineering sectors.
* An understanding of industrial or engineering materials, or a keen interest in developing technical knowledge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
* Proficient in using CRM and ERP systems, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and assist customers effectively.
