Modernisation Programme Manager
to join the team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This role is remote with regular travel. As the Modernisation Programme Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, be qualified, and have a proven background in the building industry for delivering a range of high-value, multi-disciplinary projects against strategic objectives. Your leadership style and relationship-building skills will enhance project governance and productivity, while fostering innovative thinking and continuous improvement opportunities. About You
Thorough understanding of business deliverables and priorities, knowing your role within them. Ability to lead project excellence and be a trusted partner within other business functions. Commitment to delivering a great colleague experience and maintaining premises. Attention to detail, good organisational skills, and ability to multitask. Ability to know when to lead and when to follow, with energy and drive to exceed expectations. Strong network-building skills beyond your immediate function. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Tertiary qualifications and/or 5+ years’ experience in a Programme Manager role. Strategy & Planning
Plan, schedule, and lead multiple construction projects across the UK. Manage project lifecycles from conception to completion, ensuring timeliness and budget adherence. Implement structured project methodologies and governance, including agile change management. Compliance & Risk
Ensure all projects comply with UK regulations and laws. Maintain quality control and continuous improvement processes. Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively. Cost Control
Monitor and manage project expenses against budgets. Analyse cost variations and implement corrective actions.
