Job description
Scheduler – Energy Team | Capula
Location: UK (Flexible Working Available)
Full‑time | Permanent
Ready to shape the future of sustainable energy? Capula, part of the Dalkia Group, has been a leader in advanced system integration for decades — delivering high‑performance technology solutions across energy, water, renewables and manufacturing. As we continue to innovate, we’re growing our Energy team and looking for a dynamic Scheduler to join us.
If you’re ambitious, energetic and thrive in fast‑paced environments, this is your chance to build a career in planning, scheduling and resource management while contributing to projects that power the future.
About the Role
As a Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in coordinating resources across multiple technology projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Line Managers and Business Development teams to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who:
✔ loves solving problems
✔ enjoys bringing people together
✔ has a can‑do attitude
✔ wants to grow a career in planning, scheduling or HR
What You’ll Be Doing
* Partnering with Project Managers and Business Development teams to understand current and future resource needs.
* Working with Line Managers to understand the skills, experience, aspirations and availability of our fee‑earning team members.
* Matching people to roles based on availability, capability and business priorities.
* Making clear, well‑reasoned recommendations to senior stakeholders — raising concerns early where needed.
* Monitoring project progress and resource utilisation, identifying risks and resolving scheduling conflicts.
* Communicating effectively across teams to keep everyone aligned and on track.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to balance competing interests and find compromise.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive, positive attitude with the confidence to make decisions and seek alignment where needed.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
Desirable
* Experience in a planning or scheduling role within a technology or engineering environment.
* Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
* Ambition to develop a career in project planning or resource management.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
At Capula, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where diversity is celebrated. We actively encourage applications from individuals of minority backgrounds, underrepresented groups and those with disabilities.
