Contracts: Various, from 14 hours to 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Salary: £33,431 - £34,118 pro-rata / £17.33 - £17.69 per hour (including 15% shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
£32,102 - £32,759 pro-rata / £16.64 - £16.98 per hour (including 10% shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
£29,443 - £30,041 pro-rata / £15.26 - £15.57 per hour (No shift allowance but including Distant Islands Allowance)

Role Responsibilities: Provide person-centred care and support to older people and/or individuals with learning or physical disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible, in line with the Health and Social Care Standards, Scottish Social Services Codes of Practice, and relevant policies on the protection of vulnerable adults.
Qualifications: Hold or achieve within 5 years an SVQ 2 (SCQF Level 6) in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification accepted by SSSC for registration.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to treat people with dignity, respect, and compassion; support decision-making; good written and verbal communication skills; basic understanding of health and safety, including risk assessment.
