The Green Recruitment is partnering with a leading Renewable Energy Investment Manager. They are looking to hire a Chartered Accountant who has experience with Commerce and Industry, specifically the renewable energy asset management sector. The role is based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the lender and financial reporting requirements for their portfolio
2. Own key balance sheet lines, reconciliations and processes
3. Taking ownership of the year-end reporting
4. Generation of annual budgets for the portfolio SPVs
5. High-quality monthly and ad-hoc reporting to the wider teams using Power BI and presentations
6. Analysis of portfolio companies as required
7. In-depth understanding of the assets
8. Liaising with technical, operations and data teams to provide high-quality commentary on portfolio performance
9. Strong ability to understand financial models including valuation models and debt reporting models
10. Financial model updates
11. Extraction of data from inherited financial models
Requirements:
12. Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in asset management, preferably in the energy sector
13. Knowledge and experience with Excel and PowerBI preferred
14. Prior experience in lender and debt reporting
