The Role
You\'ll be working within a busy and highly collaborative litigation team handling a broad range of matters. The caseload may include civil litigation, property disputes and contentious probate. This is a varied and hands-on role where you\'ll be encouraged to take ownership of files and develop strong client relationships from the outset.
* Managing your own caseload of litigation matters under supervision
* Supporting senior solicitors on complex matters
* Delivering high standards of client care and communication
* Achieving agreed billing and time-recording targets
* Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory obligations
* Assisting with business development initiatives and promoting the team\'s profile
* Supporting and supervising more junior colleagues or admin staff where required
About You
We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who is eager to build a long-term career in litigation.
Essential:
* Qualified Solicitor (newly qualified or due to qualify shortly)
* Minimum of 6 months experience in litigation during training contract (contentious probate experience is advantageous but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
* Proficient in IT and case management systems
* Willingness to get involved in firm-wide initiatives, training and marketing
