Blaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing construction company based near Eastleigh that is seeking an Estimator to join their team.
The company has been operating for over 25 years and delivers a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects across the residential and commercial sectors. Project values typically range from £300k to £5 million.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Taking off quantities and producing detailed bills of quantities
* Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Supporting negotiations and contract handovers to the delivery team
About You
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
* Experience pricing projects between £300k–£5m
* Background in residential (high-end and/or social housing) and commercial projects preferred
* Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines
