Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Stores Team Leader to join our growing Stores based at our Tewkesbury site. The Role: Team Leadership Lead, motivate and support a small team of Stores Operatives (2 FTE contractors) Allocate workloads to meet production schedules and deadlines Provide coaching, training and performance feedback Monitor attendance, performance and conduct in line with company policies Operational Excellence Oversee accurate picking and kitting of materials in line with work orders Ensure timely and correct material issue to production areas Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock control activities ERP & Inventory Control Record all stock movements, receipts and issues within the ERP system Transact product between warehouses and production locations Maintain full traceability using Lot, Batch and Serial numbers Ensure parts are correctly labelled and stored in accordance with procedures Compliance & Safety Promote a strong Health & Safety and Quality culture Maintain housekeeping standards and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) compliance Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities About You: You'll have a strong background in a fast-moving stores environment, with either experience or a desire to step in to a Team Leader role. Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics role (aerospace or regulated manufacturing highly desirable) Experience using ERP systems such as INFOR, SAP, Oracle or similar Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Confident working both independently and as part of a team Organised, proactive and able to prioritise in a busy environment Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Bendi) desirable but not essential GCSE or NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing preferred but not essential Benefits: At Ontic we care about your financial, physical, and mental wellness so we offer a range of benefits to support this, we care about what matters to you and have a valued culture of recognition and empowerment, accompanied by benefits that support work/life balance.
