We are now hiring a Power BI & Data Integration Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming how the business uses data across operations and finance.
Overview
This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end BI role focused on building a fully connected, automated reporting ecosystem. The objective is to move beyond fragmented reporting and create a single source of truth, where core systems — ERP, Finance (Sage), Ecommerce (Shopify), and operational platforms — seamlessly feed into Power BI. This is not a dashboard‑only role. It requires someone who can:
* Connect systems at a backend level
* Build robust data models
* Understand and validate commercial logic
* Deliver insights that directly influence business decisions
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a multi‑phase transformation project, enabling the business to:
* Replace manual reporting with automated Power BI outputs
* Gain real‑time visibility across sales, margin, inventory, and operations
* Improve decision‑making through accurate, timely, and commercially meaningful data

Ideal Candidate Profile
This role requires someone who is both technically strong and commercially aware, ideally with exposure to wholesale (B2B) environments.
Technical Skills
* Advanced Power BI and DAX
* Strong SQL and experience with data warehouses
* Experience building semantic models
* Experience integrating multiple systems (ERP, finance, ecommerce, EDI/B2B)
Commercial Understanding
* Margin calculations
* Cost vs selling price
* Trade terms and discounting
* Wholesale order flows and fulfilment
* Stock flow and inventory logic
Experience Background
Ideally you will have worked in:
* B2B Wholesale / distribution business
* Retail or ecommerce businesses
* Apparel/ Fashion/Consumer goods industry
You would have worked as:
* BI Developer
* Power BI Developer
* BI Analyst (technical)
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage data connections across ERP, Sage, Shopify, and B2B/EDI systems
* Own backend data flows to ensure accurate, timely reporting
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models
* Write and optimise DAX calculations
* Replicate and automate business logic currently handled manually (e.g. MRP / finance calculations)
Commercial & Operational Reporting
Deliver reporting across key business areas:
Wholesale (B2B) & Sales
* Forward order tracking and fulfilment visibility
* Sales performance and margin analysis
* Trade terms, pricing structures, and discounting
Inventory & Stock
* Full visibility of:
* Free‑to‑sell stock
* Allocated stock (B2B orders)
* Ecommerce stock
* Clearance pipeline
* Inventory valuation and forward projections
* Stock flow across warehouse and channels
Ecommerce (D2C)
* Order flow and fulfilment tracking
Finance
* Automate management reporting packs
* Budget vs actual analysis
* Margin and profitability reporting
Operations / Warehouse
* Pick performance and SLA tracking
* Identification of operational inefficiencies
Product‑Level Insight
* Drill‑down reporting with product visibility
* Size run analysis:
Data Accuracy & Governance
* Act as the owner of data integrity across systems
* Validate inputs and outputs to ensure commercial accuracy
* Maintain Power BI environment (refreshes, structure, access)
Phased Delivery Roadmap
Phase 1
* Enable direct reporting from ERP into Power BI
Phase 2
* Integrate Sage and automate finance reporting
* Replace manual processes and calculations
Phase 3
* Connect Shopify and B2B/EDI platforms
* Deliver full end‑to‑end visibility across sales and fulfilment
Stakeholder Interaction
You will work closely with:
* Operations teams (logistics, warehouse, sales operations)
* Finance teams (reporting, budgeting, performance tracking)
* Commercial / trading teams
