Responsibilities:
- Operate fryers and ensure they are set to the appropriate temperature
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods, such as french fries, pizza, and fish
- Monitor cooking times to ensure food is cooked to perfection
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality
- Assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, such as food preparation and cleaning
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fish and chip shop or kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Understanding of food safety practices and procedures
