Rate: £50-57 per hour (Inside IR35)

General Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our client on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the management and development of mechanical systems, particularly within cryogenic and marine/offshore environments.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating resources, managing risks, and facilitating effective communication to achieve project objectives and support the company's production goals.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources to meet project requirements efficiently.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and implement mitigation strategies.
Budget Control: Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with project goals.
Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders.
Project Execution: Oversee execution to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular progress reports.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives.
Change Management: Adapt to evolving project requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry-specific standards.
Procurement & Vendor Management: Coordinate procurement activities and manage vendor relationships.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support.
Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for manufacturing projects.
Innovation & Technology: Explore and implement new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in project management, particularly in manufacturing environments.
