Salary: £32,000 - £37,000

We have a new exciting opportunity for a geo-environmental engineer to join a successful ground investigation consultancy that has a fantastic reputation for staff development. The team is very close‑knit and you will receive full support while working on a wide range of contaminated land geology projects. This role suits a geotechnical or geo‑environmental engineer with an ambition to further develop skills and be involved in project management.

As a geo‑environmental engineer you will work on a wide variety of contaminated land ground investigation projects across the region, with an excellent opportunity for progression through the company which supports chartership.
Responsibilities
* Supervising on‑site drilling and excavations (boreholes and trial pits)
* Soil and rock logging and sampling
* Earthworks specifications
* Remediation strategies
* Client liaising
* Project managing
Qualifications
* Geology or closely related subject degree
* Previous ground investigation consultancy experience
* Full driving licence
* Living close to Reading
* Full right to work permanently in the UK
