About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Junior Technical Specialist to join our dynamic, hands‑on technical team. Based in our Glossop service facility, you’ll play a key role in our post‑sales support—diagnosing issues, managing product returns, carrying out repairs, and delivering clear, friendly technical guidance to resellers and end‑users. What you will be doing in this role
* Raise service ticket requests for Holdan from our customers and end users
* Liasing with customers with regards to updates on tickets/quotes/feedback ect
* Booking in of goods for repair, using online portal
* Engage with customers via online tickets and or telephone conversations to deliver a market leading customer experience.
* Liasing with the wider team and our brands with regards to return of faulty products to manufacture
* Carry out internal repairs of faulty goods (training provided)
* Processing paperwork for stock return to vendors outside of the UK.
* Requesting replacement/credit requests with our ACE (central post-sales) team based in Diss
* Assisting with dispatch of repaired goods back to customers
* Communicating with wider team, specifically those that are directly aligned to our technical pre-sales function with regards supporting demo oppertunities, solution design, events and training.
* Potential for travel around the UK to help deliver our industry events plan, product training and demonstrations.
What you will bring to the role
* Customer centric approach, with the ability to listen to and support our offering from a service level. Experience of working in a customer facing role.
* Understanding or clear passion for creative AV, professional video, or photography, and in turn awareness of key brands. products and technologies.
* Ability to follow procedures step by step.
* Ability to problem solve, with a can-do attitude.
* A strong team player, capable of working collaboratively but also able to drive initiatives solo if need be.
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Willingness for development and learning new products, technologies, and applications.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage own time effectively.
* Ability to adapt to different situations with ease and be a flexible and dynamic contributor within the business.
