About The Role
We have opportunities for Commis or Trainee Chefs to join us at Butlin’s.
Working as a chef at Butlin’s offers you the chance to provide an exceptional experience to our guests across various dining venues, including Italian and American restaurants with exciting menus.
We believe variety is the spice of life. In these roles, you’ll develop and refine your skills in different kitchens with diverse cooking styles. You’ll work alongside talented chefs and industry experts, with access to quality ingredients and varied menus.
Our development program, "Chef Academy," is available to our commis chefs, involving visits to our development kitchen in Minehead and industry visits, along with the opportunity to gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship.
Typical working hours are 35 hours per week, spread over 5 days out of 7, with shifts between 7am - 8pm. Live-in accommodation may be available for those relocating.

No experience is necessary for our Commis and Trainee Chef positions! We value passion for guest satisfaction and a proactive attitude.
We seek energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role and the value they add to the guest and team experience. Candidates must be aged 18 or over.
Our chefs are a special part of Butlin’s, and guests love returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience.
