Commercial Gas Engineer – Leicestershire LE18
Salary: up to £39,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Overview
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Leicestershire LE18.
You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across commercial gas systems and building services equipment within a modern commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems and associated building services equipment.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Fault-finding and remedial repairs on boilers, heating systems, gas appliances, and associated plant equipment.
* Work alongside electrical and mechanical teams as part of a multi‑skilled maintenance operation.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements
* ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1 or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across commercial gas and heating systems.
* Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
