Role
The Programme Management and Commercial Management (PMCM) team is growing here at Stantec and we are open to speaking with Senior Principal or Principal Consultants for future opportunities in 2026. These roles will provide strategic advisory services to clients in our energy sector. This role focuses on establishing and optimising programme management approaches for large‑scale capital investments.
* Strategic Programme and Financial Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects and programmes, from initial planning and design through to execution and completion.
* Advanced Performance Analysis and Process Optimisation: Utilise a keen eye for detail to accurately report on performance metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.
* Executive People Leadership and Transformational Change Management: Lead by example to create a culture of coaching, innovation, and safety within the team.
* Strategic Vision and Stakeholder Partnership: Develop and implement innovative strategies that align project goals with stakeholder expectations and organisational objectives.
* Comprehensive Risk Management and Strategic Contract Negotiation: Assess potential risks and provide well‑informed recommendations to mitigate them.
About You
* Extensive programme/project management and commercial acumen.
* Internal strategic business development experience as a trusted advisor.
* Leadership excellence with a track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
* Sector‑specific experience in the water, energy, or resource sectors.
* Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
* Substantial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
