Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Football Coach to be part of our coaching team, delivering our curriculum of team training sessions, academy sessions and school based sessions. The aim is to develop players' skills, ensure sessions are enjoyable, engaging and to promote a positive sporting ethos and culture at all times. Duties
* Deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
* Work closely with team managers to ensure their teams are collaborative, developing and are meeting our criteria and club ethos.
* Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their technical abilities and tactical understanding
* Work closely with local schools to deliver football sessions and provide a link between the children attending schools and the local grassroots club, offering opportunities to join teams and play football out of school.
* Deliver Football specific football camps during half-term breaks to local players filled with fun activities, challenges and competitions to help players love playing football whilst developing too.
* Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork
* Monitor player progress and attendance.
* Collaborate closely and regularly with other coaching staff and Head of Football to meet targets.
* Promote safety protocols during all activities to minimise injury risk.
* Support the organisation of competitions, tournaments, and community outreach events.
Experience
* Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football or similar team sports
* Demonstrated ability to teach skills effectively across different age groups and ability levels
* Coaching within grassroots, academy or school settings desirable.
* Excellent communication skills to motivate players and liaise with parents or guardians when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
* Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Certificate in Coaching Football (preferred)
