The role
As Programme Lead Growth, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in driving Babcock’s expansion across Eastern Europe. By securing and shaping high-value opportunities, the role delivers sustainable growth, strengthens our position in strategic asset management, and ensures seamless transition from contract win to operational delivery.
Day-to-day, your tasks will include but are not limited to;
1. Drive opportunity development from pipeline analysis through to Gate 4 conversion
2. Deliver strategic insights through market, competitor, and capability analysis
3. Cultivate strong relationships with NATO-based OEMs, customers, and bid partners
4. Lead internal governance processes, including win boards and programme reviews
5. Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop competitive, contract-ready solutions
6. Influence senior stakeholders across Group, Sector, and Business Unit leadership to align on strategic priorities.
This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based at Andover but there is a requirement to attend other UK sites and occasionally international as and when required.
Essential experience of the Programme Lead Growth:
7. Strong understanding of the Equipment Support domain and market dynamics
8. Proven ability to build senior stakeholder and partner relationships
9. Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments
10. Skilled in analysing data and translating insights into strategic recommendations
11. Expertise in internal and external analysis to shape impactful campaigns.
Qualifications for the Programme Lead Growth:
Educated to degree level, ideally in a related field such as business marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.
