About this role
These are some of the key components to the position:
* Lead the redesign of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes to reduce manual tasks and shorten the Month-End Close (MEC) timeline.
* Collaborate with global finance teams to create a strategic MEC schedule that balances workload and increases efficiency.
* Act as the functional lead for project workstreams, defining deliverables and partnering with IT for system automation.
* Update accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate documentation and IFRS compliance.
* Drive a robust change management plan, including stakeholder communications and training for new process adoption.
* Facilitate workshops with Country Finance Leads to gather requirements and build consensus on future-state solutions.
What will you bring to the team?
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with expertise in financial control.
* Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal control frameworks in large organizations.
* Experience contributing to finance transformation projects or large-scale system implementations like Workday Financials or OneStream.
* Ability to map complex processes and translate them into efficient, automated workflows.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across diverse teams.
* A resilient, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to driving excellence in a fast-paced environment.
