Description
The overall purpose of the role is to process, monitor and manage litigation cases, including providing representation at court, focusing on Housing Management Litigation and disrepair.
* Managing legal matters relating to:
* ASB cases,
* claims for possession,
* disrepair claims,
* Leasehold Management,
* service charge disputes and
* debt recovery
Profile
You'll be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
* Qualified solicitor or barrister (qualified to practice in England).
* Experience in all types of housing litigation, including ASB cases, claims for possession, disrepair claims, Leasehold Management, service charge disputes and debt recovery.
* Experience of advocacy in courts and tribunals.
* Ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard, including excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
* Previous experience of working in a housing association or public sector body.
Job Offer
* An hourly rate of £34, depending on experience.
