I am working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to join on a 6-month contract. This is a key role supporting a period of organisational change, requiring strong experience within regulated environments and the ability to operate confidently at a senior stakeholder level.
The Role
You will play a critical role in managing complex and sensitive ER matters, with a focus on:
* Leading and advising on redundancies and organisational change programmes
* Supporting wider change management initiatives across the business
* Partnering with senior leaders and SMF / regulated role holders
* Managing complex ER cases with professionalism and discretion
* Providing clear, commercially focused HR advice within a regulated environment
* Engaging in board-level conversations and influencing senior stakeholders
About You
* Proven experience in a senior ER / HR role within financial services or another highly regulated environment
* Strong track record of managing redundancies and large-scale change programmes
* Experience working with SMFs or regulated roles
* Confident engaging with and influencing senior leadership and executive stakeholders
* Strong understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks
* Able to balance commercial outcomes with people impact
