An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dairy farm near Upton upon Severn, Worcestershire.
What we are looking for:
* someone with significant experience in the dairy industry and with a sound knowledge of herd management and running a dairy unit with extremely high standards.
* the successful person must have a passion for attention to detail and be keen to help us continue to strive to improve in everything that we do.
* you must be able to fit in and work with our existing team
* A.I and foot trimming experience is preferable
* A full UK driving licence and UK right to work required
* the right person needs to be driven when managing their own time, record keeping, and key areas such as cow health and welfare. You will be integral to helping the business achieve ambitious goals. This is a hands-on practical role.
* the candidate must share the owners high standards for animal health and welfare.
Our farm:
We are milking 300 cows, 2 x a day through a 24/24 herringbone GEA parlour that we custom built in 2016. We have over 800 animals in total on farm. We really believe in utilising up to date technology and currently use cow manager and uniform. We have recently installed ADF and a JOZ feed pusher. We are a family run farm and ensuring we have a happy team is extremely important to us. We set up "The Really Good Dairy" in 2021, which allows us to pasteurise and sell our own milk on farm. We also sell to several outlets off farm and our on-farm vending machines sell a variety of our own beef and local produce.

Hollybeds farm sits at the foot of the beautiful Malvern hills, and we are fortunate to be surrounded by picturesque countryside. We are 2.6 miles from Upton upon Severn, renowned for its riverside festivals. There are also a host of local pubs and restaurants, as well as the local preschool and primary school, which has 10 years of 'Good' Ofsted reports. The local high school, Hanley Castle, is just 3.4 miles away, and is also rated 'Good' by Ofsted. We are about 4 miles from the M50/M5 junction and 8 miles from the city of Worcester.
