Full-Stack Software Engineer *Hybrid remote*

We're proud to be helping them in the recruitment of a Software Engineer to join their growing development team, who will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects utilizing a suite of modern technologies, such as Blazor for front-end web development, or the Azure cloud platform.
The role offers hybrid remote working, with an ideal requirement of twice a week onsite in their Smethwick (Birmingham) office.

Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be working as part of the SaaS software team developing software to a high standard, utilising the latest software technologies to meet requirements for a range of cloud-based and on-premise solutions. This role is integral to providing an expanding range of customer-focused, weighing-related SaaS solutions, including migrating existing applications to become cloud based. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work as full stack developer on a range of solutions for real-time vehicle monitoring, transactional data recording, reporting and interfacing across many market sectors. Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Work within an Agile software development environment and participate in Agile ceremonies.
2. Use Microsoft Azure DevOps for Agile activities, code management and pipeline deployments.
3. Develop software for new products, enhance existing products and deliver solutions to customer-specific requirements using a range of technologies and platforms.
4. Develop software for cloud based and on-premise solutions.
5. Design and utilise Microsoft Azure and SQL databases as required.
6. Work flexibly and efficiently, utilising new and existing technologies, software tools and hardware devices to provide new solutions and drive innovation.
7. Proactively suggest improvements and solutions via the latest technologies.
8. Participate in testing of solutions developed within the team.
Competencies:
9. Self-motivated and performance driven with a "can do" attitude.

11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
12. Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
Technical skills:
13. At least 2+years' commercial software development experience with a range of the following: C# - WEB API, WPF, Windows applications and services.Web - Classic ASP, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Blazor.
14. Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
Desirables:
15. Azure DevOps - CI/CD, Repositories, build and release pipelines.
16. Azure resources - App Services, Virtual Machines, SQL and Azure SQL.
Salary & Benefits:
The Software Engineer will receive a salary of up to £50,000, the opportunity for hybrid remote working (at least twice a week in the Smethwick office), as well as a host of other benefits.
