Job Title: Sports Coach Location: Barnsley (S70, S71) Pay rate: £460-£600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Are you enthusiastic about motivating young people and developing their sporting skills as a Sports Coach? GSL Education are looking for a skilled Sports Coach to work with schools in Barnsley, across the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging physical education sessions and inspiring students to stay active and healthy. As a Sports Coach, you will lead dynamic sessions, build teamwork and fitness, promote positive attitudes toward physical activity, and create an inclusive environment where all students can enjoy and progress in sport. Core Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured sports sessions and activities. Encourage participation and support students’ skill development. Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Promote teamwork, confidence, and resilience through sport. Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging environment for all students. Requirements: Relevant sports coaching experience or a recognised qualification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage young people effectively. Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach. An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
