Group Reporting Manager
Based: Bolton – hybrid working
Salary: circa £70k + benefits + excellent culture
15 month FTC starting December 2025 / January 2026 – will consider someone on a notice period
We are working with a fantastic, international PE backed technology-led organisation with a strong track record of growth. The business operates across UK & European markets becoming a clear market leader in its space and well positioned to capture further growth.
Role:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for all Group companies in accordance with relevant accounting standards (FRS 102).
* Oversight of the annual audit process, acting as the main contact for external auditors and ensuring accurate year-end reporting is delivered within tight deadlines, typically four months post year-end.
* Assist in the transition to new statutory accounts software, ensuring compliance with the latest Companies House requirements.
* Production of monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group, including full responsibility for consolidation and adherence to strict month-end reporting timetables.
* Assisted with regular lender reporting, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.
* Overseeing the Group's corporation tax compliance, working closely with external tax advisors and auditors to provide information, resolve queries, and ensure timely filing of returns and computations.
* Responsible for calculating quarterly instalments and monitoring other tax-related matters across the Group.
* Managing the Group's insurance programme, coordinating renewal documentation, meeting compliance deadlines, acting as the key contact for insurers, and ensuring adequate coverage is maintained across all entities.
Experience:
* ACA qualified with minimum 3 years PQE either first time mover from Industry OR 2nd time mover with industry experience
* Experience of preparing statutory accounts and group consolidations is essential
* Strong technical understanding of Corporation Tax & Tax compliance essential
* Audit lead experience essential
* Strong Excel & communication skills
