Principal Officer – Repairs 📍 Loughborough / Hybrid Working 📅 Long-Term Opportunity 💷 Competitive Rate I'm currently supporting a Local Authority client who is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Officer – Repairs to lead the delivery of a high-performing responsive repairs service across its housing portfolio. This is a senior operational management role responsible for leading repairs teams, business support functions and contractors, ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently, compliantly and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage responsive repairs, maintenance and associated housing services • Manage Repairs Team Leaders, Operatives and Business Support staff • Oversee contractor performance and in-house labour resources • Manage customer complaints and housing disrepair cases • Drive service improvements and performance against KPIs • Monitor repairs from initial diagnosis through to completion • Produce and analyse management information and performance data • Manage budgets, resources and operational risks • Work closely with voids, tenancy management and asset teams • Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements • Support senior management and deputise for the Repairs & Investment Manager when required Candidate Requirements: • Sign...
