Senior Grants Officer who has previous experience processing grants and bursaries, preferably within a Finance Department, with intermediate Excel skills and the ability to carry out data analysis, is required for an organisation that supports the UK TV, Film, VFX, Animation, and Games Industry.
SALARY: £33,000 - £38,000 pro rata
LOCATION: City of London / Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week in the London office) – candidates MUST live within a commutable distance to London (EC1V)

Job Overview
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Grants Officer with experience in processing grants and bursaries, ideally within a Finance Department, with intermediate Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
You will support the Finance Manager in managing the grants and bursaries process, ensuring projects stay within budget, are contracted promptly, and are monitored effectively. Collaboration across the organisation to meet funders’ requirements will be essential.

Responsibilities
Grants Management
* Develop schemes, guidelines, funding programs, and application and assessment forms in collaboration with delivery teams.
* Inform fund priorities and processes regularly to the delivery team.
* Manage finance processes for grants rounds and tenders.
* Assess applications, review project budgets and cash flows, and present recommendations.
* Manage master templates of contracts with regular reviews.
* Issue and manage grant contracts ensuring legal soundness and compliance with procurement policies.
* Review grant applications for completeness and accuracy.
Systems and Reporting
* Reconcile grants data between the grants database (BBGM) and finance system (Sun).
* Review aged grant creditors quarterly, process fall-in grants, chase outstanding reports, and close grants.
* Maintain the grants management system, provide training, and evaluate system effectiveness.
Other Responsibilities
* Support other team members and during audits.
* Provide training to new staff.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Experience in a similar finance role.
* Data analysis and manipulation skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience setting up review processes for templates and contracts.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient IT skills, including intermediate Excel.
Desirable
* Experience with BBGM (GIFTS) and SUN accounting system using Q&A.
