Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Witton. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Senior Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis

Job Role:
Credit Control Operations
Ensuring our day-to-day credit control activities are achieving timely collection of outstanding debts.
Administering the opening of new accounts in a timely manner, working closely with our sales teams.
Assessing credit worthiness of new and existing customers and recommend credit limits. Ongoing monitoring of those limits to achieve an optimal balance between risk and reward.
Liaising with our credit referencing agencies and our credit insurers when appropriate, to minimise bad debts.
Handling complex accounts and resolve customer queries.
Leadership & Management
Allocating workloads, set performance targets, and conducting regular reviews.
Providing training to enhance team performance.
Customer Relationship Management
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to ensure smooth payment processes.
Negotiating payment plans and terms where necessary.
Reporting & Analysis
Preparing regular reports on debtor performance for senior management.
Identifying areas for improvement in credit control processes.
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in credit control, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong leadership and team management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced user of Microsoft Office
