Join to apply for the Commercial Healthcare Lead role at AXA Health.
Are you interested in having a pivotal role shaping the optimal healthcare ecosystem our customers can access for support with their healthcare? We’re launching two exciting Commercial Lead roles at AXA Health. Working with the Head of Healthcare Design and Performance and the wider Commercial team, you’ll be responsible for managing initiatives and supporting oversight of the cost, quality, and outcome effectiveness of the end-to-end healthcare our customers take. You’ll design, drive, and manage a range of activities to monitor end-to-end quality and value of healthcare across specialties (including musculoskeletal and surgical specialties, digital and primary care, medical specialities and oncology). Relevant clinical experience is preferred, but the most important factor is clear experience delivering impact in a similar or transferable role.
AXA supports flexible working arrangements. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead strategic design and continuous improvement of condition-specific healthcare journeys, aligning with AXA Health goals of managing claims spend inflation and enhancing healthcare outcomes.
* Establish and monitor KPIs related to healthcare specialty and journey effectiveness, cost management, and patient outcomes, using data to drive continuous improvement.
* Identify, select, and plan cost management initiatives within specific healthcare specialties, ensuring initiatives are evidence-based and aligned with best practices.
* Develop and utilise deep subject matter and research expertise to design and implement end-to-end healthcare pathways for seamless patient experiences and optimal clinical outcomes, while managing transitions between care settings.
* Manage and facilitate changes in healthcare delivery, collaborating with transformation, operations and other teams, ensuring stakeholder engagement and clear communication to minimise disruption and enhance adoption.
* Maintain understanding of developments in the UK and global healthcare ecosystem to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for innovation in service delivery.
* Oversee and manage initiatives in priority condition areas, designing comprehensive strategies that enhance outcomes while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
* Act as business lead for non-clinician, non-facility healthcare supplier relationships, ensuring collaboration with external partners to support healthcare journeys.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to report progress, share insights, and foster collaboration, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational objectives.
What you’ll bring / Qualifications
