We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Engineer to join an international water treatment engineering solutions company with a remit to work on and develop ideas and solutions for the design of waste water processing and treatment projects in the Europe region.
Location of the job
Hybrid - Office location of Peterborough UK - ideally 3 days a week in the office - and remote

Job responsibilities of the Project Engineer
As Project Engineer you will focus on the leading of designs of services water processing and treatment projects across the European region.
You role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and project engineer execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile and BOO projects in the region and responsible for design execution on time delivery and budget
2. Design and support for regional Asset care water treatment projects
3. Manage CE marking and UKCA certifications process and Standards
4. Leading I/O checks, Commissioning and Startups for newly designed equipment and plants
5. Manage documents developments, review and approvals
6. Manage Customer deliverable/ Technical communications
7. SAP business tool activities: Material Master, Inventory, drawing and BOM
8. Sourcing supports finding suppliers and parts; Technical review of the quotes
9. Work closely with regional leads to develop deals and successful executions
10. Subject matter expert and field supports
11. Close collaboration with fabrication facilities, Sourcing, product management and incorporate field feedback
12. Lead, Coach, and train outsource engineering and work closely to get done detailed designs and drawings
13. Design in mind of Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality
14. Lead HAZOPs / Product Safety reviews
15. Lead to Introduce/implement Lean/ Best practice Tools/ Process
The successful candidate background
16. Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage but not essential
17. Ideally educated in B.Sc. in an Engineering/science / Master or related technical experience
18. Solid Plant design experience
19. Experience of water processing and water related engineering projects
20. Good knowledge of Electrical / Control/ Mechanical Material and Equipment’s selection and Sizing’s
21. Experience in PLC designs, Troubleshooting and Integrations (Preferable PLC- Allan Bradley and Siemens)
22. Experience directly in an engineering design
23. Experience in a product/services business in water treatment
24. Strong water process and project management skills with ability to drive projects and meet deadlines
25. Strong analytical and computer skills
Salary, benefits and working hours
