Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and bartending, with exceptional team management skills. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, maintaining food safety protocols, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff and managing the bar's daily operations.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
* Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
* Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance the bar's offerings.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant or bar management role, with strong bartending skills.
* Background in food production or culinary arts is advantageous.
* Excellent team management abilities with experience in supervising staff effectively.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
* Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
