The Role
The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, connection, and commissioning of solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure across residential and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Installation and commissioning of:
* Solar PV systems (Aiko / Longi panels)
* Battery storage systems (Tesla, Sig Energy, Sungrow)
* Inverters (Solis)
* EV charging points
* Carrying out DNO connections and ensuring compliance with grid requirements
* Testing, inspection, and certification of completed installations
* Fault finding, maintenance, and system optimisation
* Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations and company quality standards
* Working safely and efficiently on-site, maintaining a professional approach with customers
Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
* G39 certification
* Proven experience in solar PV, battery storage, or EV charging (preferred but not essential)
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and safe working practices
* Full UK driving license
* Willingness to travel as part of a growing national operation
