Kare Raine Stud owner & manager is Equine Lecturer with Cert Ed qualified, NVQ Assessor and breeding & performance specialist. Karen is a BHS Int SM & AI technician. They pride themselves on producing employable learners who have gone onto very good careers within the industry in the UK and abroad. They are breeders of sport horses and ponies. They competed up to Newcomers BS and show to HOYS level. They are home to Elite graded coloured stallions as well as non-coloured performance stables. A 35 horse yard with fantastic facilities including Indoor school, outdoor school, XC course. The opportunity to attend shows and groom at a high level. Duties include all general horse care: · Mucking out · Grooming · Tacking up · Riding · Lunging · Clipping The apprenticeship is based fully onsite so not not lot of time spent in the classroom. If you didn't gain your GCSE's at grade 4 or above we can help you achieve that on programme. Accommodation and livery an option This location is ideally looking for a rider to exercise the horses so ideally competent. Interview will be a trial day onsite. You must have lived in the UK for 3 years or more to be eligible for this role Training All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach. Qualifications required A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
