An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Workington, Cumbria area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers.
This care home provides residential and dementia care for residents in purpose‑built, en suite accommodation.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be willing to complete Level 3.
Key Duties
* You will lead and inspire a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents enabling them to live later life well.
* Supporting our residents with personal care needs and helping them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
* You will administer medication and maintain clear and accurate records.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Passionate about caring for older people.
* Previous care experience.
* Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.
* Kind, warm and caring nature, able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
* Patience, communication and listening skills.
* Maintaining accurate records, time management and prioritising tasks.
* Ability to lead by example, form positive relationships and energise colleagues to deliver exceptional care.

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary up to GBP15.30 per hour and an annual salary up to GBP30,630.60 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 38.5 hours a week working through nights.
