Our client is a Leeds/Bradford based construction main contractor with an excellent reputation. They work on new build projects in the industrial, retail and commercial sectors across the North of England valued between £1-10 million. Due to continued growth across the company, they are seeking an Estimator/Assistant Estimator to join their Pre-Construction Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction estimator or an up-and-coming Assistant to play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, developing tenders, and supporting the successful delivery of construction and civil engineering projects. You will be involved in every stage of the pre-construction process from initial enquiry to bid submission. Responsibilities: * Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using first principles pricing. * Tender Preparation: Develop tender programmes and coordinate submissions. * Bills of Quantities: Take off measurements and extract details from drawings and specifications. * Supply Chain Management: Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations. * Client Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and designers.
