English and Maths GCSE Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tutoring in English and Maths for GCSE level students Create lesson plans and educational materials tailored to individual student needs Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Prepare students for GCSE exams Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification Experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Proven experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage students Good organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in preparing students for GCSE exams Additional qualifications in education or related field Working Conditions: This is a part-time temporary position requiring flexibility in working hours Tutoring sessions may take place in-person or online The tutor will need to travel to student locations within Oxfordshire All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
