GVR Solutions is representing a reputable main contractor based in South London, currently seeking a Small Works Contracts Manager to join their team. The company specializes in refurbishment contracts for luxury residential insurance claims.
As a Small Works Contracts Manager, you will oversee the company's operational duties across all active projects, with project sizes ranging from £50k to £500k, typically totaling around £3m. The successful candidate will have support from 2 supervisors/managers. The company operates across London and the Southeast, with offices in Guildford and Greenwich. They value flexible working arrangements and prioritize finding the right person who can deliver on their duties.
Responsibilities include:
1. Weekly reporting
2. Procurement of materials, labour, and plant
3. Liaison between contractors, external consultants, and stakeholders
4. Managing site teams and supervisors to maintain high standards
5. Collaborating on solutions for design changes
6. Managing projects including high-end insurance claims and small refurbishment and fit-out projects in London's affluent areas
Requirements for the Small Works Contracts Manager:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Contracts Management
* Proven experience in high-end insurance market or high-end refurbishment sector
* Strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
