NPI Project Manager

This leading Manufacturing are now looking for an NPI Project Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of New Product Introduction. You will manage the project scope, schedule, finance, risk quality and resources.
As NPI Project Manager you will be passionate, self-motivated and detail orientated. A team player who is committed to producing top quality work every time.
Key responsibilities as NPI Project Manager:
* Leading and motivating the team to achieve: On Time Delivery, On cost, On quality.
* Drive fundamentals of Project Management within the business and product life cycle framework
* Work closely with the cross functional teams to ensure key objectives are prioritised correctly.
* Monitor and report progress, managing risks and focusing on cost adherence.
* Occasional Client and Supplier visits
* Participate in the continuous improvement of the associated processes.
* Assist in the preparation of department key performance indicators.
Experience as NPI Project Manager:
Personal Specification:
* Formal qualification in Project Management or previous project management experience
* Engineering level degree or other relevant university degree
* Experience in electrical/ electro-mechanical /motion control systems is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and able to drive through improvements.
* Methodical working style and sense of responsibility
* Full UK Driving licence – preferable.
* High ability to communicate internally and externally.
* Experience working in MRP systems is an advantage.
